The year Sam Plunkett was born, 1968, his dad Alan planted the first grape vines in Strathbogie Ranges, Central Victoria. In 2012, Sam branched out with wife Bron to create their own label – Wine x Sam. 

High above sea level, the Strathbogie region’s dry, sunny days and cool nights mean a longer, slower growing season, producing wines that are intense, aromatic, and complex, with great balance. 

Wine x Sam has won many awards, including the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.
